Terms & Conditions

Payments: Reservations & payments may be made by cash, debit, certified cheque, money order or Visa & Master Card. Please do not send cash by mail.

Serviced Sites: When making a reservation for a site, you may reserve by paying a $100.00 deposit. A $25.00 cancellation fee is mandatory for all reservations. The balance is due upon arrival. Once your deposit has been received, you will receive a letter of confirmation, your payment receipt and the term and conditions, which must be read if there is any discrepancy, call as soon as possible in order to correct the changes.

Cancellations for Cabins / Camping Sites: All cancellations must be requested in writing, within 30 days of your arrival date to be valid. Once your request has been processed, you will receive all monies paid, minus a $25.00 administration fee.

Check In: Check in time is 1:00pm for all sites. Please have only one member of your party check your group in. Early check-ins will not be permitted.

Check Out: Check out time for all campsites, RV sites and cabins are 11:00am. Please note: Late checkouts will be charged a full day’s rate.

Rental Security / Cabin Key Deposits: All cabin reservations will have a $15.00 key deposit added to them. This will be refunded when you check out and return the key to the office. All deposits must be made by cash and will be refunded by cash.

Smoking: For the protection of our renters who have allergies, all cabins are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside on the decks only. If a unit is found to have been smoked in, a $300.00 cleaning and deodorizing fee will be automatically applied against your security deposit.

Pets: Because Bissell’s is a family resort, we have had to be “breed specific” when making the decision to allow a dog into the park. Please check with a reservation team member for more information. All dogs must be kept on leashes, picked up after and not allowed in the pool area.

Children & Youth: Bissell’s is a family resort and as such we welcome children of all ages, however, children and youth will not be permitted to camp without adequate adult supervision.

We will not take bookings from individuals under the age of 25. Please be advised that ID will be required, and if not produced, sites or keys will not be assigned. Parents must stay on site at all times with individuals under 25 years of age unless authorized by a manager prior to arrival. Bissell’s Hideaway reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds or return vouchers will be issued.

Guests: All camping customers’ guests must pay the gate charge before coming into the park. Guests are welcome to visit the park until 11:00pm. All guests are subject to the rules and regulations of Bissell’s Hideaway and you as the registered party will be held responsible and accountable for your guest’s actions.

Rules & Regulations: While visiting Bissell’s Hideaway, you are responsible for abiding all the resort rules and regulations, (enclosed in your Welcome Park). Non-compliance may result in your eviction from the park, should this happen, no refunds will be issued. Under no circumstances will Bissell’s Hideaway be liable for any loss or damage to any of our guest’s personal property, including their vehicles, jewelry, personal effects or any other valuables, including currency.

Parents are responsible for the care and actions of their children at all times. All customers and guests using Bissell’s Hideaway facilities do so at their own risk.

Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted in the pool area. Glass containers are not permitted at camp- sites at any time.

Site Selection: Although we will attempt to honor your chosen site, there are times when this will not be possible. Wherever possible, we will attempt to notify you of your site change before your arrival. Should a site change be necessary, we will guarantee the same site type equivalent or better. If we are unable to provide the above, a full refund will be issued.

RV & Camping Sites: Camping and RV site prices are for 2 adults and 2 children. Additional charges will be applied for more individuals. No more than 2 tents per sites will be allowed. Dining tents must be approved by Manager.

Car passes must be displayed in the front windshield of your vehicle at all times. Security will check passes anytime of the day.
