Individuals and families are welcome to visit the Resort and view trailers which are for sale on site.
All trailer sales are private sales between the owner and the buyer. Bissell's Hideaway does not sell any trailers.
View of the list of trailers for sale and take a drive around the Resort. Sometimes you will catch the owner at the trailer, and you can stop and have a look. The owners are not always present and you may therefore need to contact them and make viewing arrangements. Bissell's Hideaway does not show trailers or give out keys.
Ensure that you check out all aspects and areas of the trailer before purchasing. Do not make an uninformed purchase. If needed, get a professional to view the trailer a make a recommendation on its condition and asking price. Bissell's Hideaway is not responsible for problems with trailers discovered after the purchase.
Trailers may be pulled out of the Resort. If this is what you wish to do, make moving arrangements.
Trailers may also be kept on the site. In this case, you may want to make arrangements to purchase the deck and lawn ornaments/decorations which are already on the site, along with the trailer. Please be advised that a $750 transfer of ownership on a regular site and a $1,000 fee on prime sites are charged to the seller when a trailer is sold and remains on the same site. If the seller reneges on this payment, the buyer is responsible. ALL NEW SEASONALS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO A CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP.
You may also want to purchase the trailer and move it to another site. In this case, there is no transfer of ownership charge, but a used trailer fee charge of $500 will be charged. If you wish for us to move the trailer, charges may apply. Ask the office for details.
If the trailer is purchased by May 1st, full seasonal fees are due by the first weekend in May, otherwise interest charges will be added. If the trailer is purchased during the Summer, full seasonal payment is due immediately.
Ensure to get adequate year-round insurance coverage on the trailer and its contents.
